OMCT Brandbook

This project consisted in creating a graphic charter for the existing logo of OMCT (World Organization Against Torture).

I took the red element of the logo and interpreted it as a scar.

"OMCT fights to put an end to torture, but also to directly assist victims of torture and/or cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment.

A scar is :

1. the mark of a wound, after it has healed.

2. (Figuratively speaking) A physical or psychic trace testifying to great moral suffering.

The scar is an integral part of the healing process.

The scar is part of the OMCT logo and will therefore be used in the charter as a recurring graphic element."

From this scar, we built a whole graphic universe that OMCT uses for its various communication media.
